Yaksta is the stage name of Kemaul M. Martin, a successful Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist, songwriter, producer, artist, and actor. He is known for his conscious lyrics and blend of reggae and dancehall rhythms, often referred to as “Reggae That is Raw”.
Career and Music
- Debut and Rise: Yaksta debuted in the music scene in February 2016 with his EP, Stoic Torture. He rose to global prominence with hit singles such as “St Mary,” “Humans,” and “Ambition”. His single “Home” went viral in 2017, garnering over a million views.
