Artist Bio
Bunji Garlin is a Trinidadian soca artist known as the “Viking of Soca,” famous for his rapid-fire delivery and fusion of dancehall and soca into what became known as ragga soca. Coming from the community of Arima, he built his reputation in freestyle clashes and Soca Monarch competitions.
His global hit “Differentology (Ready for the Road)” and later collaborations with EDM and dancehall producers helped introduce soca to new audiences. Bunji’s lyrical prowess and commanding stagecraft make him a perennial favorite across carnival circuits worldwide.
